Solution

The logo utilises the initials O and M as the key words of the brand. The O represents a pitted olive with a simple X which highlights the mark which is left when the olive has been pitted.

The tall, hexagonal, tapered shaped bottle shows elegance with a luxurious look whilst being unusual and different from other olive oil bottles currently on the market. As well as being aesthetically pleasing the facets allow the bottle to be more easily gripped than the traditional cylindrical bottles.

The material used for the stopper is cork which is a very sustainable material. The lid has a hexagonal cutout on the inside. The cork lid locates the top of the bottle to ensure stability during transit (see below).

The brand name meaning Marble Olive tree has been portrayed using a simple olive branch with a marbling effect on the leaves to link with the brand.

The outer packaging would be made using recycled wood chips which are ground into pulp and allows you to create a strong material with an integral base to ensure the bottle is secure.
