Human Kind 2.0

Brief 

Create branding for a new plant based brand

called Human-Kind. Must have a human element, be aimed at millenials and stand out from competitors. First products in the range will be lentil crisps in 4 flavours, Sweet Chilli, Really Cheezy, Sour Cream and Onion and BBQ.

Solution

The branding for Human-Kind is a hand drawn logo with the option to sit in an environment which will be important when placing the logo on packaging. Final logo is hand painted to give a more playful humanistic element. The hyphen has been hidden discretely between the H and K. Type can be used alone, in an environment or as an icon (for social media). The shape around the typography was adjusted to feel more natural by utilising a stylised leaf shape.

We would like the packaging to be illustrated with scenes to represent the flavour, this will be the next steps of the design process. All design assets for presentations will be hand-drawn and in keeping with the branding.
